Ling Gae - Luang Phor Ding
Luang Phor Ding is famous for blessing a very special amulet known as ''Ling Gae'' or ''Hanuman Gae'' Only a few monks are attributed with the specialist knowledge to create these pims and they are,
Luang Phor Ding, Wat Bang Wua, Chachoengsao province..
Luang Phor Sun Wat Salakun, Nonthaburi province
Luang Phor Pban Wat Bang Krasop, Samut Prakan province.
Phra Kru Piboon Khanarak or formerly known as Luang Phor Ding Khangkhasuwanano was the Abbot of Wat Bang Wua which was also known as Wat Saparam.
The reason that only a few monks were sufficiently knowledgeable to create these amulets is because the process is not only very strict but also complicated taking the adept a considerable time to master. For example they can only be carved from either the roots of the sacred Dton Rak tree. or the roots of the Dton Putson plant commonly referred to as Cape Jasmine ( Gardenia Jasmino).
Even before the roots are harvested, a mysterious and magical spell ceremony "Sagot Athan" needs to be performed, with sacred cloth covering the knife to be used in the extraction or cutting of the wood. Only roots that face east can be used and during removal certain shadows cannot be cast across the wood. The practitioner of this ancient knowledge must strictly adhere to protocol , otherwise the power can be severely diminished or even rendered void.
However created properly, by a true master, then these amulets are thought to provide "Kong Krapan Chatree" and "Klaew Klat" or extreme invulnerability and protection from danger. Many other attributes associated with the Monkey God can also be activated by invoking the spirit of Hanuman through a sacred katha.

The katha also has some other very special supernatural powers. In particular by invoking the spirit of Hanuman everyone within a household can be placed in a deep sleep or a ''trance like''. To achieve this the amulet is placed at the base of one of the house supports or pillars.
This has also been used for the specific purpose of creating a state of absent mindedness in an enemy and achieved by placing the amulet in the mouth and chanting the katha. It is said that your enemy will become confused and bewildered.
